WORST FOODS THAT MAKE YOU FAT
Yes, the 2 foods that I’m going to talk about; will surprise you! The reason for this
is that most people believe that these 2 foods are healthy, good for you, and actually help you to lose
weight. NOT TRUE! These ar 2 of the worst foods that make you fat!
No, I’m not talking about Trans fats and high fructose corn syrup (although they ARE
really bad for you); I’m talking about Wheat products and Fruit juice. Yes, fruit juice!
Read on…….
Let’s talk about wheat products first:
We’re talking about most breads, cereals, bagels, muffins, pasta, cracker, and so on.
This includes “whole wheat. In addition to being extremely fattening, many people have intolerance to the
gluten in wheat and some other grains. Most people don’t realize that we were not meant to eat large
quantities of wheat. It has never been in such large quantities in the human diet until the last 80-100
years. The human digestive system developed over several hundred thousand years eating a hunter-gatherer diet
of meats, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. The human digestive system has never adapted to the large
amount of wheat in our diet.

FOODS!
Most people, who eliminate wheat products from their diet, start to lose weight and
feel much better with in 2-3 weeks. Most report that not only are they losing weight faster, but they no
longer have the headaches and indigestion that they have had for years. Some even reported that their skin
problems went away when they eliminated wheat from their diet.
OK, that’s #1 of the 2 worst foods that make you fat.

Let’s talk about fruit juices:
“What?” you say,” Fruit is healthy for you!”
And, yes it is. However when you remove the juice from the fruit, and drink only the
high calorie sugary mixture, you leave behind the fiber and other beneficial components of the
fruit. This is# 2 of the worst foods that make you fat. When you only drink the juice of
fruits, you are not getting the appetite satisfying effect of the fiber in the fruit, and you’re left craving
more carbs (and fruits are high in carbs).
Bottom line…over consuming fruit juices makes you fat. On the other hand, eating whole
fruits including all of the fiber helps you maintain a healthy balanced diet and high nutrient
density.
